Granite and Caesarstone are popular countertop materials that are often compared. Both are durable but differ in many ways. The most fundamental difference is that granite is a natural stone whereas Caesarstone is an engineered product made from processed quartz. In terms of colours, Caesarstone offers a far wider variety of colour combinations than granite. This is because granite is formed naturally from minerals in the rock which can be dyed red, green, or even a subtle purple during its formation. An engineered stone like Caesarstone, on the other hand, can be manufactured in any colour or pattern by mixing pigments and stones. But in terms of durability and longevity, Caesarstone is tougher and stronger.
